General information
- 1. How the conference will be held
This year's conference will be held with all programs online.
Registration is required to participate in the conference.
- 2. Registration
You can register on the conference website (https://www.jsbba.or.jp/2022/) until 16:00 on Friday, March 18.
After payment is completed, you will need to enter your online registration receipt number and conference registration e-mail address to log in to the Participant My Schedule in the conference program search site (https://jsbba2.bioweb.ne.jp/jsbba2022/).
- 3. Issuance of receipts
Please enter your online registration number and e-mail address to receive a receipt from the conference website (https://www.jsbba.or.jp/2022/registration_fee.html).
- 4. Viewing environments
Programs via Zoom
Applied to: awarding ceremony, award lectures, general lectures (poster discussion), symposia, sponsored seminars, Industry-academia-government exchange forum
To participate in these programs, you need to download the Zoom app.
Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Zoom app before you start.
※General lectures (poster discussion) will be conducted using the Zoom breakout room function, so if your application does not support it , you will not be able to watch the presentation even if you enter the corresponding Zoom session.

The following environment is recommended

※ Please refrain from using Internet Explorer (you will not be able to view some of the contents).

Please make sure to enable it before use.
(Internet connection)
A fast and stable Internet connection is required to view videos.
A connection speed of 2Mbps or higher is required for video replay.
If your connection speed is insufficient, you may not be able to view the videos or join zoom sessions properly.
Even if you have a connection speed higher than the above, the connection may become unstable due to congestion, etc., and you may not be able to join the sessions smoothly.
Programs via SpatialChat
Applied to: meeting rooms, poster discussion session of Nougeikagaku Meeting for High-school Students 2022, Nougeikagaku-related company information session, on-line exhibition
These programs use SpatialChat. Click on the respective banner on Program Search Site and you will be directed to the login page. Fill in your name, organization, and profile, and click the "Continue" button. Set the camera and microphone to ON or OFF as desired. When you have finished setting the microphone, click the Join Space button to log in. The basic viewing environment is the same as Zoom.
※SpatialChat sets a limit on the number of participants for each day. Please note that you may not be able to join, depending on the participation status.
- 5. Prohibited acts
Recording, photographing, printing, or capturing screen shots of delivery videos or lecture slides is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use or reproduction is also prohibited.
Slander or defamation of any kind using the question and answer board for each presentation or the Zoom Webinar Q&A is strictly prohibited .
Please note that the secretariat will keep a record of all questions submitted.
- 6. Information from JSBBA (during the conference)
Information during the conference will be posted on the official Twitter page of the conference website (https://www.jsbba.or.jp/2022/).

Remarks on registration
- 1. Points to note when registering
Please register at the conference website (https://www.jsbba.or.jp/2022/) and pay the registration fee.
If you have paid the registration fee, you will be able to receive a PDF certificate of participation on March 5 (Sat.) by authenticating your online registration receipt number and the e-mail address you registered with.
- 2. Registration after February 14
For participants who registere on the conference website (https://www.jsbba.or.jp/2022/) after noon on February 14 (Mon), the regular fee will be charged (see below).

Regular member 10,000 JPY
Student member 2000 JPY
Non-member 22000 JPY
If you do not pay the registration fee by noon on February 14, you will not receive the discounted rate even if you register before that date. (Deadline for registration: Friday, March 18, 16:00)
What registrants receive
1. Certificate of Participation PDF
If you have paid the registration fee, you will be able to receive the certificate of participation PDF on March 5 (Sat.) by verifying your online registration number and the e-mail address you registered with.
2. Conference program book
The conference program booklet will be provided in electronic format (PDF). It can be downloaded from the conference program search site (https://jsbba2.bioweb.ne.jp/jsbba2022/).
3. Conference Abstracts
Abstracts for the 2022 Annual Meeting will be published in PDF format (March 5, 2022). The URL for accessing the book will be sent to your registered e-mail address with a password after payment of the registration fee.
4. Program search function
Once you have registered and paid the registration fee, you will be able to view the timetable and abstracts of general lectures and symposia using the conference program search function. You can also use the "My Schedule" function to easily create your own personal schedule of all the programs you want to attend. Check the presentations you are interested in and save them to your My Schedule, which will be automatically sorted by date and core time. General lectures (Poster discussion sessions)
- 1. Information for speakers
Q&A discussion session will be held using Zoom break out room function.
(1)Entering the meeting room for presentation
Speakers are able to enter the meeting room from 15 min before the session starting time.
When you enter the meeting room, please tell the conference staff orally that you have entered the room.
If you do not tell us, we may not be able to confirm your presentation.
The procedure for entering the room will be posted on the conference website.
(2)Session time
The Q&A discussion time of 30 minutes is set for each presentation.
If you want to continue the discussion after the core time, please use the "meeting room" in SpatialChat.
–Each breakout room in the same meeting room has a parallel Q&A discussion session in the same time slot.
(3)How to make a presentation
If you wish to show data during the Q&A session, please use the "share-screen" function by yourself.
(4)Other
Prepare the presentation materials in English. Please note that the details of the presentation guidelines are subject to change. Please check occasionally and follow the changed instructions, if any, on the conference website.

- 3. Information for facilitators / chairpersons
(1)Entering the meeting room in charge
The facilitators / chairpersons are able to enter the meeting room from 15 min before the session starting time.
When you enter the meeting room, please tell the conference staff orally that you have entered the room.
※ The procedure for entering the room will be posted on the conference website.
(2)What to do
Each facilitator will be in charge of 4 to 6 presentations (running concurrently) and will be expected to visit the breakout room of the presentation he/she is in charge of during the 30-minute Q&A time to stimulate discussion.
You are expected to move to the assigned breakout room by yourself.
(3)Other
Sometimes there may be no participants in the room.
In such a case, the facilitator will ask questions to the speaker and encourage a lively exchange.
Symposia
- 1. Information for symposium speakers
(1)Entering Zoom webinar
Speakers are requested to enter the symposium as panelists.
Please enter the room by following the entrance guide for panelists, which will be sent separately by e-mail.
※ Please note that the procedure for entering the room as a viewer is different from that for entering the room as a speaker.
(2)Preview and operation check
Speakers, facilitators, and chairpersons can enter the Zoom room 40 min before the start of symposium.
After entering the Zoom room, the conference staff will provide guidance.
(3)Session management
The time for presentation and question/discussion will be up to the management of chairpersons/facilitators. Please keep the time strictly, referring to the elapsed time display.
(4)Slide projection
Please use the "share-screen" function and operate by yourselves.
(5)Other
